Meeting Notes

AI meeting notes that capture everything so you can focus on the conversation. Real-time transcription, smart summaries, automatic action items, and searchable meeting history.

Meeting Notes captures everything said in your meetings so you can focus on the conversation instead of typing. It transcribes in real time, generates a summary with key decisions and highlights after the call ends, extracts action items and assigns them to the right people, and archives every meeting in a searchable history. When someone says 'didn't we discuss this last month?' you can search for it and find the exact moment. Built for operator founders and small teams who run on meetings but don't have an EA to take notes — and who've lost track of too many action items because nobody wrote them down.

After a customer call

  1. 1Meeting Notes auto-generates a summary with key points and decisions.
  2. 2Review the extracted action items and confirm assignees and due dates.
  3. 3Share the recap with teammates who couldn't attend.
  4. 4Action items flow into your Starch task list for tracking.

Prepare for a follow-up meeting

  1. 1Search Meeting Notes for the last meeting with this person or on this topic.
  2. 2Review what was decided and which action items were assigned.
  3. 3Check which action items are complete vs. still open.
  4. 4Walk into the follow-up with full context instead of asking 'where did we leave off?'
"Summarize yesterday's product meeting"
"What action items were assigned to me this week?"
"Search all meetings where we discussed pricing changes"
"Who committed to what in the last standup?"
"Show me decisions made in meetings I missed"
Which conferencing tools does it support?
Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. The transcription works via a bot that joins your meeting (you'll see it as a participant) or via browser-based audio capture, depending on your setup.
How accurate is the transcription?
Very good for standard business English in quiet environments. Accuracy drops with heavy accents, crosstalk, or bad audio. Speaker identification works best when participants use their real names in the conferencing tool.
Does it really extract action items automatically?
Yes. It listens for commitments ('I'll send the proposal by Friday,' 'Jake, can you update the pricing page?') and creates action items with an assignee and due date. You review and confirm after the meeting — it doesn't auto-assign without your approval.
Can I search across all past meetings?
Yes. Full-text search across every transcript and summary. You can search by keyword, person, date range, or topic. This is the feature that pays for itself the first time someone asks 'what did we decide about X?'
How is this different from Otter.ai or Fireflies?
Similar core functionality (transcription + summaries), but Meeting Notes is bundled into the Founder Stack — so action items flow into your Starch task manager, meeting context appears in your CRM contact records, and you're not paying for yet another standalone subscription. If you just need transcription and nothing else, Otter is fine.
Are my meetings stored securely?
Yes. Transcripts and recordings are encrypted and private to your team. No meeting data is used to train AI models. You can delete any meeting's data at any time.
